Clearing

Clearing is a critical transition phase in lacrosse where a team moves the ball from its defensive end to the offensive zone, typically after gaining possession. It requires coordination, timing, and smart decision-making to break the opposing team’s ride and successfully advance the ball upfield. Effective clearing not only relieves pressure but also creates scoring opportunities and shifts momentum in a game.
